The Sheffield College is a further education (FE) college in Sheffield, England. It was formed by the merger of six FE colleges in 1993. Its campuses are City campus (in the city centre, formerly Castle College), Hillsborough campus (which replaced Loxley College in Stannington, and Parson Cross College in 2005), Olive Grove campus and Peaks campus. In summer 2015 the Norton campus closed down with many of the courses relocated to a new purpose facility at its Hillsborough campus. The college is one of the sponsors of UTC Sheffield, a new university technical college which opened in September 2013.〔http://www.utcsheffield.org.uk/about/governance/〕 There are also plans to open a second UTC located on the old Don Valley Stadium and will form part of the Olympic Legacy Park. The second UTC will focus on Human Sciences and Computing. ==Campus==
